The Musical Genius, Again with a bang. This time, the dream is Bigger, Noble and with an intention to take indian musicians to the higher level. Yes, “We will have our own symphony”, AR Rahman said in the press meet on the occasion of the Grand Start of KM conservatory.
The conservatory has many courses like Basics in Music and Compositions, Diploma, Part time and full time courses. They are planning to have a batch of 150 students. The Admission is purely based upon auditions. Till now they have got 250 entries. World class musicians are gonna take classes. Yeah, the surprise is not yet finished. Rahman will also take classes.
When reporter did their job by asking ARR “how will you do that?” ,Arr, with his trademark smile, said, “I commit only two films per year.So its not a big deal”
They have not decided the Fee structure as of now. “Rahman foundation will provides scholarship for the needful students”,Rahman added.
The KM conservatory, is so close to ARR’s heart and for time being, it will start functioning at his Home. Soon in two years, they are building a campus for around 3 to 5 acres with world class standards where you can hear music but not car horns.
